The White House says an invasion of Ukraine could occur at any moment

This comes as the Biden administration weighs up new options… including providing further military assistance to Ukraine.

This is all in an attempt to prevent Russia from staging a full-scale invasion and occupation of the nation.

Last week, the US and its allies met with officials from the Kremlin… but these talks resulted in no significant breakthroughs… and Russia has continued to raise its presence over the last few days.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his Russian counterpart will meet in Geneva on Friday.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says the situation is at breaking point.

“We believe we’re now at a stage where Russia could at any point launch an attack on Ukraine. I would say that’s more stark than we have been,” Psaki said during her daily press briefing.

“It is the choice of President Putin and the Russians to make whether they are going to suffer severe economic consequences or not.”

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
