Microsoft’s acquisition of a cybersecurity company comes as the tech giant continues to fight against cyber crime
Bloomberg says Microsoft will acquire security software maker, Risk-IQ for more than $500 million.
It comes as the tech giant expands its products to better protect customers amid a rising tide of global cyber-attacks.
Risk-IQ makes cloud software that detects security threats, and helps clients to understand where they’re vulnerable to attacks.
Risk-IQ also boasts a range of high-profile clients like Facebook BMW, American Express and the US Postal Service.
