Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has claimed victory in the latest Formula One race in Monaco
Pole-sitter Charles LeClerc wasn’t able to start the race due to a driveshaft issue, meaning Verstappen was essentially alone on the front row – a lead he would not relinquish.
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz finished in second while Mclaren’s Lando Norris rounded out the podium.
The win by the Finn sees him also take the lead in the Drivers’ Championship, ahead of current World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
