The US embassy in Kyiv has announced its temporary closure after receiving credible information regarding a potential significant air attack scheduled for November 20.
In a statement, the embassy said that, as a precaution, employees have been instructed to shelter in place.
Additionally, the embassy advised US citizens in the area to prepare for shelter in the event of an air alert.
In related developments, a US defense official disclosed that President Joe Biden has authorised the provision of anti-personnel land mines to Ukraine, with expectations for their imminent delivery within the country.
