U.S. tech giant Apple is putting plans on hold to use Chinese chips in its products

The products are reportedly from Yangtze Memory Technologies.

But they won’t be used for the time being, as Washington places tight measures on Chinese goods.

Reuters is reporting that Apple had wanted to use these devices earlier this year.

The state-owned company was set to produce flash memory chips for use in iPhone that were available to Chinese buyers.
