U.S. President Joe Biden and South Korean President Yoon Sock-yol have reached a new deal to deploy a U.S. nuclear submarine in South Korea.

The U.S. is showing support for South Korea and helping to deter attacks from its neighbour, North Korea.

In return, South Korea has agreed not to go ahead with nuclear weapons.

The deal, called the Washington Declaration, comes amid rising concerns about nuclear threats from North Korea as the country carries out a record number of ballistic missile tests.
