Sporting icon Tom Brady has opened up about his return to NFL

Tom Brady says he knew that he could handle another season in the NFL, when he sensationally came back from retirement to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In an interview with ESPN, the 44-year-old says he knew that his body could hold up.

When he retired in February, Brady says he spent time with his wife and kids and reflected on the decision to leave football behind.

That’s when he started to miss the feeling of running out and playing the game he loves.

Brady says 30 to 27 loss to the LA Rams to round out the season just didn’t sit right with him.

It’s believed that he spoke with his former coach Bruce Arians, and eventually decided that he wasn’t done just yet.
