The crypto company has announced it will stop minting new Binance USD stablecoin.

This is all in accordance with directives from the New York State Department of Financial Services.

For those playing along at home, Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies that are designed to stay at parity with government-issued currencies, like the U.S. Dollar.

Binance USD is the third-largest stablecoin – So what does this closure mean for investors?
