As the war in Ukraine continues and Russia increases its aggression on the country, the war-town nation is being stripped of its people, as they flee to find safety.

As people flee in their millions, the Polish Border Guard says. 2,481,000 people have sought refuge in Poland.

However, the numbers of those crossing the border have fallen significantly in recent weeks. This has raised concerns that some are choosing to stay and risk their lives in Ukraine.
