Tesla Cybertruck explosion near Trump Hotel in Las Vegas kills one, injures several; investigation into potential terrorist attack ongoing.

A Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning.

The blast resulted in one fatality inside the vehicle and injuries to several bystanders.

Local officials are investigating the incident as a possible terrorist attack, but the motive has not yet been determined.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated on social media that the explosion was not related to the vehicle itself.

Musk claimed the blast was caused by large fireworks or a bomb placed in the truck’s bed, and all vehicle telemetry was normal at the time.

This incident follows another tragedy in New Orleans, where a driver killed 15 people in a rented truck just hours earlier.

Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill reassured the community, stating that there is no further threat and that precautions are being taken.

The explosion was reported at approximately 8:40 a.m. local time.

Sheriff McMahill described how the Cybertruck approached the hotel’s entrance before smoke billowed from it and then the explosion occurred.

It remains unclear whether the deceased was male or female.

Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Thomas Touchstone noted that as first responders arrived, they discovered multiple injuries among bystanders.

Two of the seven injured individuals were transported to local hospitals, but their injuries are considered minor.

Greenland and Denmark have used high-level talks in Washington, D.C. to firmly restate that the Arctic island is not for sale, pushing back against long-standing US interest in the strategically vital territory.

Foreign ministers from both Greenland and Denmark acknowledged that major disagreements remain following discussions with US officials, despite what they described as constructive engagement on shared priorities.

Greenland’s government made clear it is open to closer cooperation with Washington, but only on its own terms, rejecting any suggestion of ownership or control.
