Right to be cautious – or overreaction – over TikTok?

Agencies have been given until the end of March to ensure they do not have the Chinese-owned app installed.

It’s all in a bid to keep national data safe and prohibit internet traffic from reaching the company.

But Beijing has lashed out, saying this is the U.S. abusing state power to suppress foreign firms.

So, is it all an overreaction or does Washington have a right to be cautious?
