The current Chief Financial Officer will take over from Alan Joyce in November
Qantas Chief Financial Officer Vanessa Hudson will replace CEO Alan Joyce from November.
The Chairman of the Australian airline says Hudson has a “deep understanding of the business”.
He says “a lot of thought has gone into this succession.”
A number of candidates both internally and externally were considered for the role.
