Spotted: new sighting of Dubai ruler’s daughter

Published

on

The daughter of Dubai’s ruler, Princess Latifa, has been spotted in Madrid after reports earlier in the year that she was being held captive by her father.

In an image posted on the public Instagram account of one of the Princesses’ close friends, both women are seen wearing masks in Madrid’s main airport.

The photo’s caption reads “Great European holiday with Latifa… we’re having fun exploring”.

In February, the BBC released the footage that you are viewing now, showing Princess Latifa saying that she was in captivity and fearing for her life.

A photograph posted last month on two public Instagram accounts purports to show Princess Latifa, the daughter of the ruler of Dubai, who has not been seen or heard from in months prior.

The footage was enough to have the United Nations demand “concrete evidence” that she was still alive and she should be released “urgently”.

After these reports surfaced, Dubai released a statement saying that she was being cared for at home and “we are hopeful she will return to public life at the appropriate time.”

David Haigh is the co-founder of the Free Latifa campaign and says he is “pleased to see Latifa seemingly having a passport, travelling and enjoying an increasing degree of freedom”.

Haigh added that the princess has contacted his team directly but he cannot comment further at this stage.

Why Australia is becoming the new home of the Hollywood blockbuster

Published

on

Australia’s multimillion-dollar campaign to attract Hollywood productions to its shores appears to be paying off.

The allure of Australia lies not only in its picturesque locations but also in its competitive financial incentives.

The government offers generous rebates and tax breaks to international productions, making it an attractive proposition for filmmakers looking to maximise their budgets.

Despite the recent intake of Hollywood productions down under such as ‘The Fall Guy’ and ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’, Aussie independents are still finding the space to carve their own creative path.

Rob Fantozzi joined the program to discuss the latest in Hollywood, and showcased his own upcoming project – ‘Omerta‘. #featured

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
