This is the seventh in a series of launches

North Korea has fired two ballistic missiles towards the East Sea.

The North Korean missiles flew to an altitude of 50 kilometres and covered a range of 350 kilometres.

The Japanese Coast Guard says the missiles landed outside the nation’s economic exclusion zone.

The seventh launch is the latest in a series of weapon tests by the North, including multiple missiles being fired last week.

North Korea has been vocal about the military drills between South Korea and the United States, labelling them as acts of aggression.

Military drills between the two nations will conclude next week.
