The U.S. has had no contact with soldier Travis King since he ran across the border last week
There has been no new communication between the United Nations and North Korea since Travis King first bolted across the border to the secretive state.
The 23-year-old was about to fly back to the United States from South Korea for possible disciplinary action when he sprinted across the border and appeared to be detained by North Korean guards.
