Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban has fired back at SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, following Musk’s recent criticism of business diversity initiatives.
The two tech moguls engaged in a heated exchange on social media, shedding light on their differing perspectives on the importance of diversity in corporate America.
In a tweetstorm, Musk questioned the effectiveness of diversity programs in the tech industry, suggesting that they often lead to “reverse discrimination” and don’t necessarily result in meaningful change.
Cuban, known for his ownership of the Dallas Mavericks and appearances on the television show “Shark Tank,” didn’t waste any time responding to Musk’s remarks.
In a series of tweets, he defended the value of diversity and inclusion efforts, emphasising that they contribute to a more innovative and successful business environment.
