Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, and a business of Fortune-200 company Marsh McLennan, has today acquired Australian insurance broker Honan Insurance Group.

Honan is one of the fastest-growing mid-market insurance brokers with a team of 400 employees across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

Marsh’s purchase of Honan will considerably increase its footprint in Australia.

Headquartered in New York and founded in 1871, Marsh operates across 130 countries, solidifying its position as a major global insurance brokerage firm.
