Manchester United fans have stormed Old Trafford and forced Sunday’s game against Liverpool to be postponed.
The reason: they really don’t like the club’s owners.
Hundreds of United supporters gathered outside Old Trafford hours before the scheduled kick-off to show their disgust at the club’s United States-based owners, the Glazer family.
Around 200 people forced their way into the stadium by battling past stewards and safety barrier.
As a Liverpool fan, I want to extend solidarity to Manchester United fans demonstrating against how their club is governed.
Their actions serve as a loud reminder that football is nothing without fans.
