A show at Disneyland has ended in flames on Saturday night.

Crowds at Disneyland were left stunned when Maleficent caught on fire.

The 13-metre tall animatronic dragon was engulfed in flames during a live performance of ‘Fantasmic’.

The popular show features gravity-defying water displays, pyro-tech and Mickey Mouse.

Disney staff can be heard yelling out to “clear the area” when fire was shooting out of the dragon.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and for now, any similar fire effects will be suspended at all of its theme parks around the world.
