Limits on liquids in your luggage could be a thing of the past under a new airport trial

3D scanners are making it easier to scan the inside of people’s luggage

It means the current security restrictions on laptops and liquids could be axed within two years.

The equipment is similar to CT scanners used in hospitals, and has been in the works for quite some time.

UK Ministers are reportedly working on a review, with an announcement expected before Christmas, according to the BBC.

Of course, passengers taking liquid in their cabin baggage are restricted to 100 mills, and it must be shown to security staff.
