An extended halt to exports of COVID-19 vaccines from India is set to have a great impact on vaccination efforts in Africa.
Indian authorities are battling a surge in cases as we know with the country very much at breaking point.

Africa has lagged far behind other regions due to supply issues.
The nation had planned to vaccinate between 30 and 35 percent of its population by the end of the year.
