Hunter Biden being treated like ‘the son of a king’

Is Hunter Biden off the hook with a sweatheart deal?

U.S. President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden has agreed to plead guilty to federal income tax charges in a deal with the Justice Department.

The chargers come after an investigation was launched by the U.S. Attorney in the Delaware—President Biden’s home state.

Hunter Biden’s attorney said in a statement,“Hunter Biden believes it is important to take responsibility for these mistakes that he made during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life. He looks forward to continuing his recovery and moving forward.”

The 53-year-old has long come under fire for shady international business deals, despite not having any experience or expertise in the matters.

All this took place while his father was in office as both the Vice President and President, leading many to question whether Joe Biden was involved and if so—is he now compromised?

Republicans have long accused Hunter of peddling his access to his father and have called for investigations.

Simon Ateba, the Chief White Hose Correspondent for Today News Africa joins us to discuss.
