Former Secretary of State speaks on her political past and future in CBS interview

In an exclusive interview with CBS, Clinton has taken aim at the Republicans and her 2016 loss to Donald Trump.

When asked by CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell, “would you ever run for president again?” Clinton responded “no, no.”

“But I’m gonna do everything I can to make sure that we have a president who respects our democracy and the rule of law and upholds our institutions,” she said.

O’Donnell follows up with, “what if Donald Trump runs again?” to which Clinton says “he should be soundly defeated”

“It should start in the Republican Party – grow a backbone! Stand up to this guy! And heaven forbid if he gets the nomination, he needs to be defeated roundly and sent back to Mar-a-Lago.”
