There’s an 18 year old Spaniard by the name of Carlos Alcaraz and this probably won’t be the last you hear of his name

Tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz from Spain sent the tennis world into a frenzy on Friday with his thrilling victory over Miomir Kecmanovic to reach the semi-finals of the Miami Open

Men’s tennis has been crying out for the next superstar that will take the game forward and Alcaraz could be him.

The world number 16 is through to semi-finals of the Miami Open but the result it less important compared to the way he played.

Ben Rothenburg is one the more respected tennis journalists and he praised the Spaniard.

This point shows why the tennis world is watching, Alcaraz knocked out tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas in the round of 16.

Alcaraz has now made the final four at his last two tournaments, in Miami and Indian Wells.

The Spanianard will play Hubert Hurkacz next up for a spot in the final.
