Mexico has sent 70 Haitian migrants back to their country describing it as a “voluntary return” flight

This comes days after the U.S. cleared thousands of Haitian migrants from a camp at the Mexican border in Texas.

Mexico’s interior and foreign ministries says the “first group” of migrants were moved due to an agreement between Mexican and Haitian authorities.

An increase in Haitian migrants reaching the U-S through Mexico’s border has allegedly prompted the move.

Just this month, about 30 thousand migrants were encountered at this Mexico – U-S border within two weeks.

About 8 thousand of these migrants have been sent back to Mexico where they have been advised to apply for asylum in southern Mexico.

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
