Google removes Android photo app over malware concerns

PIP Pic-Camera Photo Editor has been removed from the Google Play Store over warnings it contains dangerous malware.

The app has been downloaded millions of times up until it was pulled down a few days ago.

The malware has been found to have taken users’ Facebook credentials including their username and password.

Users are being encouraged to delete the app and change their details immediately.

Other apps like Wild and Exotic Animal Wallpaper, zodihoroscope, PIP camera 2022 and Magnifier Flashlight have been flagged to contain similar viruses.
