Ghislaine Maxwell – judge rules against anonymous witnesses

Published

on

Ghislaine Maxwell’s defence will begin to call its own witnesses, but three individuals who wish to testify anonymously will not be allowed to do so

This follows Maxwell’s attorney telling the judge that the three witnesses wanted to testify out of the public eye because they will likely get a lot of unwanted attention.

The defense is expected to last for just a few days, after the prosecution rested its case after calling a total of 24 witnesses across 10 days.

The case centred around the stories of four women who testified that they were sexually abused by Epstein when they were under 18.

They also claim Maxwell both facilitated and sometimes participated in the abuse.
