France and Germany are “seeking full clarity” on a report claiming that one of Denmark’s intelligence agency’s helped the United States spy.
The report says the spying took place on senior European officials including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Macron commented on the issue during a statement to the press following a virtual Franco-German summit, stating these practices are “unacceptable between allies, and even less acceptable between European allies and partners.”
