Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz Junior is keen for a debate on the health impacts of Formula One’s new cars

The 27-year-old says he feels pain from racing in cars with a stiff suspension.

New rules were brought in this season in a bid to increase the chances of overtaking.

But some teams are reporting a series of violent bouncing, which is impacting the health and safety of drivers.

The Spaniard is asking how much a driver should pay for their health during their F1 careers.

While Sainz likes the new regulations, he wants an open conversation about the impacts it is having on driver’s backs and necks.

He is currently fifth in the drivers’ championship after coming third at the Miami Grand Prix earlier this month.

Trump claims Iran’s military largely neutralized; tensions rise with attacks threatening air travel and oil shipping.

President Trump says Iran’s military capability has been largely neutralised, including its navy and air force, as the conflict in the Middle East intensifies. Iranian attacks have threatened commercial air travel and oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, raising fears of wider economic fallout.
