British superstar Elton John has been forced to cancel concerts again in the United States, after contracting Covid-19

Despite being vaccinated and boosted, the 74-year-old icon is postponing two farewell concert dates in Dallas. A statement says he’s experiencing mild symptoms, and that he’s looking forward to returning to the stage soon.

“Hi everyone, wanted to send a message to let you know that I have contracted COVID and so have had to reschedule my shows in Dallas,”

“If you have tickets, you’ll be contacted with the new dates really soon. It’s always a massive disappointment to move shows and I’m so sorry to anyone who’s been inconvenienced by this but I want to keep myself and my team safe.”

“As always, thank you for all your love and support and I can’t wait to see you all soon!”

The singer says he hopes to return as soon as possible, to finish the American leg of his farewell tour.

However, Elton John has postponed European dates on his world tour until next year so that he can have an operation on an injured hip.
