The tech mogul says various agencies could also see users’ direct messages
Twitter CEO Elon Musk has sensationally revealed various U.S. government agencies had access to the behind-the-scenes workings at the social media platform.
The tech mogul admitted that this also included access to users’ Direct Messages, or DMs.
“The degree in which various government agencies had full access to everything that was going on at Twitter, blew my mind,” Musk said.
Musk was pressed if this would include DMs – “Yes” was his answer.
The interview will appear on Tucker Carlson’s program later this week.
