At least eight people have been killed and ten wounded in a second shooting in Serbia.

The shooting occurred in the Serbian village of Dubona, 60 kilometres southeast of the capital, Belgrade.

The shooter remains at large, with a warrant issued for a 21-year-old male suspect.

The police have cordoned off the area where they suspected him to be hiding.

Ambulances and relatives of the injured are arriving at the local Emergency Center.

Authorities say all available patrols have now been sent in the direction of the village.

This comes just a day after the Balkan country was rocked by a shooting at a school in Belgrade.

A 13-year-old boy opened fire on his classmates.

Serbia has some of the highest levels of gun ownership in the world, but mass shootings have previously been rare in the country.
