The move surrounds the Stormy Daniels hush money allegations

There are reports former President Donald Trump could be arrested this week as the Democrats warn no one is above the law.

The case surrounds hush money that was allegedly paid on Trump’s behalf to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

On Saturday, Trump spoke out, warning his arrest could occur at any moment and his supporters should take to the streets and protest if it does.

But there has been no indication whatsoever from the Manhattan district attorney’s office that Trump will be detained.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are accusing the former president of recklessly stoking political divisions.

Trump has pledged to continue his campaign to become the Republican nominee in the 2024 election, even if he is taken into custody.

It is not yet known if he is going to be criminally charged or what any possible indictment might contain.

Former U.S. vice-president Mike Pence has joined other senior Republicans in saying this is all a politically-motivated saga.
