It’s argued Donald Trump’s town hall was a ratings boost for TV, or as an infomercial for social media

Donald Trump got a new platform to preach on and it was none other than CNN.

Some say it was an informercial at town hall mainly because it allowed the former president to have campaign material to clip for social media.

But at a time when more people are switching off TV, was the ratings boost desperately needed?
