Seven dead in Half Moon Bay, California after gunman opens fire

Seven people have been killed in the second mass shooting to rock the U.S. state of California in three days.

The suspect has been apprehended by police.

It all occurred at a mushroom farm and a trucking firm in Half Moon Bay – a coastal community south of San Francisco.

It’s believed four people were killed at the farm and three at the trucking company.

Half Moon Bay is 48 kilometres south of San Francisco.

Reports suggest the suspect was working for one of the businesses.

The sheriff’s office says there is no ongoing threat to the local community at this time.

This shooting of course following the tragic killing of 11 people in Monterey Park, California.
