Britney Spears’ ex-husband in hot water after he leaked footage of the pop star disciplining their children

Britney Spears has a whole new spate of controversy after her ex-husband leaked videos of her disciplining their children.

Kevin Federline released the footage on his Instagram after pop star Spears complained publicly about the children allegedly disrespecting her.

Federline said he could not sit back and let his sons be accused of acting poorly.

“As much as it hurts, we decided to post these videos the boys took when they were 11 and 12″, Federline said.

He continued, “this isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop and I hope our kids can grow up to be better than this.”

The two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James are now 16 and 15 years old old, respectively.

In one of the videos posted by Federline to Instagram, Spears yells, “you better all start respecting me?”

“This is my house. If I wanna come in here and give you lotion for your face cuz [sic] it is coarse, and all you tell me is, ‘It’s fine, it’s fine,’ no it’s not fine!” she said.

Now, Britney Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, as well as a whole host of fans are coming to her rescue.

Rosengart has defended his client’s actions and said “Spears is a brilliantly talented, extremely hardworking icon”.

[Federline], who for reasons that are inexplicable, decided to give a gratuitous interview that has hurt the mother of his children,” Rosengart added.

Spears’ team are working with Instagram to ensure Federline is acting within the scope of the social platform’s content rules.
