UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has promised to “get on with the job” of recovering the country post-Brexit

During his speech to the Conservative Party Conference Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, despite the pandemic, the UK is on the road to a high-wage and high-skilled economy.

Boris Johnson pledged to deliver the change demanded by voters, expressing his goal to fix social care and explaining the need for tax rises to fund the National Health Service.

British people have been concerned about the tax increases but the PM assured them that it is the only way to recover from the pandemic crash.

He emphasised that UK will be “levelling up”, focusing also on reducing gaps between regions, reducing crime, improving transport links and broadband and reforming the housing market
