Biden considers plan to return nuclear weapons back to Ukraine

As the war in Ukraine recently marked its 1,000th day, the recent U.S. presidential election could drastically reshape its trajectory.

 

President-elect Donald Trump has pledged to end the conflict quickly, hinting at a negotiated settlement that would likely force Ukraine to cede territory to Russia.

This shift comes as Ukrainian forces struggle against mounting losses and dwindling international support, despite last-minute aid efforts by the Biden administration.

According to published news reports, several officials have suggested that Biden could return nuclear weapons to Ukraine that were taken from it after the fall of the Soviet Union.
