Australia takes home the Women’s One Day International Cricket World Cup trophy, snatching the victory from England

The women finished the tournament with a whopping 71 run win, in Christchurch.

Adding to the selection, Australia also now holds the Women’s and Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy, as well as the Women’s and men’s ashes trophies.

Alyssa Healy’s performance stole the show with 170 runs from 138 deliveries, which is the biggest individual score EVER recorded by a male or female in an ODI World Cup final.

She also broke the record for most boundaries scored in a Women’s World Cup innings.

Many fans took to social media saying Healy’s experience will be remembered for years to come.
