The boss of Australia’s Counter Intelligence agency (ASIO), Mike Burgess has warned that the country will likely see another terror attack within the next 12 months.
During an inquiry into extremist movements and radicalism in Australia, Burgess stated that religious extremists are the biggest threat.
However, the intelligence chief also says “given the growth in nationalist and racist violent extremism it could come from either ideology”.
