Apple is set to mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11

The tech giant has announced that it will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with the release of a new documentary in September.

9/11: The President’s War Room will be released in partnership with the BBC and is set to focus on the 12 hours that followed immediately after the first plane hit the World Trade Center.

The new film, directed by Adam Wishart, will feature never-before-heard testimonies with President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice (national security advisor), Colin Powell (secretary of state), and many more.

The exclusive, never-seen photos

Apple’s new documentary will also feature nearly 200 never previously published photographs of the aftermath of the attacks.

The special will air in September in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, available on the BBC One channel before coming to Apple TV+.

Elsewhere the show will debut on Apple TV+ exclusively
