Over a million people have been relocated as flood water from Typhoon Doksuri has been relocated to save Beijing from flooding.

In northern Hebei province, which is home to over 100 million people, people are angry as they feel they have been sacrificed to save Beijing.

The leader of the province said he was trying to build a “moat” for the capital, a statement that only further fuelled anger among residents.
