A Petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 has almost reached 3 million signatures

Johnny Depp fans can’t wait to cancel Amber Heard amid his ongoing defamation suit involving his ex-wife.

A petition calling for the actress to be dropped from Aquaman 2 has nearly reached the 3 million signatures mark on a change.org petition.

The campaign’s goal is 3 million signatures, which fans hope is the milestone that Heard will be prevented from reprising her role as Princess Mera in the superhero sequel.

Right now the petition needs under 100,000 signatures to hit the golden number.

The creator of the petition says she made the campaign because she believes allegations that Heard had “been exposed as a domestic abuser” by the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

“Men are victims of domestic abuse, just like women. This must be recognized, and action must be taken to prevent a known abuser from being celebrated within the entertainment industry.”

Jeanne Larson, creator of petition writes.

Fans also view the petition as payback for Depp being dropped by Disney in his role as Captain Jack Sparrow after Heard accused him of abuse.

Heard wrapped filming in January this year and is still scheduled to appear in the DC flick, which is slated for a March 2023 release.

Trump claims Iran’s military largely neutralized; tensions rise with attacks threatening air travel and oil shipping.

President Trump says Iran’s military capability has been largely neutralised, including its navy and air force, as the conflict in the Middle East intensifies. Iranian attacks have threatened commercial air travel and oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, raising fears of wider economic fallout.

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh has faced two attacks, while Gulf states worked to intercept further Iranian strikes. Officials report six U.S. troops killed and more than 700 deaths inside Iran as the exchange of fire escalates.

With global markets watching closely, the region remains on edge as military and diplomatic tensions show no signs of easing.
