Several major music labels have filed lawsuits against AI-powered music generation companies Suno and Udio, alleging copyright infringement in the United States.

The lawsuits, filed in federal court, claim that Suno and Udio have been using copyrighted music compositions without proper authorisation or licensing.

According to the complaints, Suno and Udio’s AI platforms allegedly analyze vast libraries of existing music to create new compositions that mimic copyrighted works.
