Rollercoaster crash leaves people injured at Legoland

There have been tragic scenes at a German theme park, as people are rushed to hospital with injuries

A rollercoaster crash has left 30 people hurt at Legoland in Germany.

The accident happened on the fire dragon ride after two trains reportedly collided with each other.

Around 14 people were sent to hospital for observation and one person needed further treatment.

It’s understood three helicopters were sent to the scene, and fire and rescue services were called in to help the injured guests.

The theme park says a full investigation is underway and the ride has been shut for the time being.

It’s not yet known what caused the two carts to collide.
