Johnny Depp has taken to the stage performing alongside his longtime friend Jeff Beck at a concert in England

The actor has made headlines amid his defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard but has now found a new kind of spotlight playing guitar at Sheffield City Hall.

The venue took to Twitter to express their shock tweeting.

“Well… what a surprise we got last night when Johnny Depp joined ⁦jeff beck music⁩ on stage. Wishing Jeff⁩ good luck for the rest of his amazing tour and a big thank you to Johnny Depp for joining us!” The tweet read.

Many know Depp for his stellar movie performances but the actor has long been a musician forming his own music group called Hollywood Vampires in 2012.
