India PM fails to claim key state in election

The Indian Prime Minster has failed to win a key state of West Bengal in the Indian state election.

The Modi party targeted the key state heavily during the campaign, but it was held comfortably by the opposition who are fierce critics of the Prime minister.

He has been accused of focusing on polls rather than the pandemic…which is clearly now out of control in the country.
