1MDB files multibillion suits against major investment funds
Malaysia’s 1MDB and a former unit have filed a lawsuit against multiple entities including J.P. Morgan and Destuche Bank.
The nation is seeking to recover assets worth more than 23 billion dollars linked to the state-owned investment fund.
The company has filed six suits against nine unnamed entites including two foreign institutions.
J.P. Morgan has declined to comment while Deustche says it hasn’t been served any papers.
