Bengal tiger mauls keeper’s arm in private Mexico zoo
A zookeeper has been fatally injured after stroking a tiger while sticking his hand through the fence.
The keeper approached the animal during feeding time with footage showing him waving over the tiger to attract its attention before the big cat pulled the man’s arm into its mouth.
The zookeeper died in hospital following the attack in western Mexico.
He allegedly denied doctor’s requests to amputate his hand dying from a severe heart attack shortly afterwards.
The video was released by the owner of the private zoo that keeps tigers, a lion and a crocodile.
