Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to attend a climate change leaders summit video conference, putting global warming into the spotlight.

The meeting with France and Germany is set to take place over the course of the next 24 hours.

Xi will attend at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, according to a report by Reuters.
